Terms & Conditions

These terms explain the request process, advisor approval and pharmaceutical sale for customers using the NovaMeds service in the United Kingdom.

Last updated: 30 September 2026.

1. About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern the commercial request relationship described below. Please read them before submitting a request. Website use is covered separately by our Terms of Use.

2. Role of NovaMeds

NovaMeds operates the platform and acts as an intermediary between the customer and the pharmaceutical distribution partner.

NovaMeds receives requests and coordinates customer communication, order review, payment instructions and logistics. Where applicable, NovaMeds may also help coordinate access to independent telemedicine services.

NovaMeds is not the pharmacy or pharmaceutical seller and does not itself dispense prescription medicines. Under the current operating model, NovaMeds issues the customer invoice or receipt; the pharmaceutical seller remains PharmaMed International Sh.p.k..

3. Pharmaceutical seller

Pharmaceutical sales and supply are carried out by PharmaMed International Sh.p.k., Authorised Pharmaceutical Distribution Partner. PharmaMed is the pharmaceutical seller, not merely a courier or logistics provider.

4. Eligibility to use the service

You must be legally able to enter into the proposed transaction and meet the requirements applicable to the product and its supply in the United Kingdom. If acting for another person, you must have the appropriate authority and explain this to the advisor. Access to the website does not establish eligibility for any particular medicine.

5. Product information

Product pages describe medicines, presentations and available evidence. Informational discussion of a substance is not an offer to supply it. Authorised indications are distinct from research findings and from an individual prescribing decision. Website content does not replace professional medical advice.

6. Submitting a request

At checkout you select products, provide contact and delivery information, choose delivery and indicate your prescription or telemedicine status. You then submit a non-binding request.

Submitting a request through NovaMeds does not constitute automatic acceptance of an order or an automatic sale. No payment is automatically processed at checkout. A request reference or acknowledgement confirms receipt only.

7. Advisor review

A NovaMeds advisor reviews availability, destination restrictions, the information supplied and the prescription and fulfilment requirements applicable in the United Kingdom. The advisor may ask for further information needed to complete that review. Clinical assessments and prescribing decisions remain with independent healthcare professionals.

8. Acceptance of a request

A request is accepted only after it has been reviewed and approved by a NovaMeds advisor. The advisor communicates that approval to you: this is the acceptance point for the transaction with PharmaMed as pharmaceutical seller.

Before approval, your request may be declined for the legitimate reasons set out below. Submission, an automated acknowledgement and payment verification are not substitutes for advisor approval.

9. Prescription products

Prescription-only products may proceed only where the applicable prescription requirements in the United Kingdom are satisfied. Any existing prescription must be appropriate and valid. NovaMeds may help coordinate an independent authorised telemedicine assessment where available, but cannot issue or guarantee a prescription.

10. Telemedicine assessments

If a prescription is required and you do not already have an appropriate prescription, NovaMeds may help you access an authorised independent telemedicine service where available.

The healthcare professional acts independently, is not controlled by NovaMeds and makes the clinical decision. They are not obliged to issue a prescription. Payment of an assessment fee does not guarantee prescription issuance.

The applicable telemedicine assessment fee is £80, where an assessment is required and you request assistance accessing it. The advisor confirms any applicable fee before payment.

11. Prices and charges

The approved product price is not subject to arbitrary change after approval. If a manifest listing error is found before approval, the advisor will explain it so you can decide whether to proceed with a corrected request.

After approval and before payment, NovaMeds provides the confirmed amount, including approved products, the selected delivery cost and any applicable telemedicine assessment fee. Any proposed change to an accepted request must be explained and agreed with you; these Terms do not allow a unilateral increase to an agreed product price.

12. Payment

Payment is arranged after advisor approval, using the instructions NovaMeds provides. Payment methods depend on current operational availability, and the advisor confirms the options available for your order.

No payment is automatically taken at checkout. Payment verification may take up to 4 hours. Verification confirms receipt of payment and allows fulfilment to proceed; it does not replace the earlier advisor approval.

13. Delivery

You select your preferred delivery method at checkout. Orders are normally dispatched within 24 hours after payment verification, and tracking is supplied after dispatch. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Local delivery options, charges and further details are set out on Shipping & Delivery.

14. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Before approval you may withdraw your request by contacting support. Cancellation may also be requested before dispatch. Medicines are not normally freely returnable after dispatch for a change of mind. Damaged, incorrect, defective or missing items are reviewed through support. These provisions do not limit mandatory consumer rights. The full procedure is set out in our returns policy.

15. Product availability

A product listing or a submitted request does not guarantee availability. Availability and the ability to supply to your delivery address are checked during review. If an accepted order cannot be fulfilled, NovaMeds will contact you to resolve it, including any applicable cancellation or refund. A substitute product will not be supplied without your agreement.

16. Requests we may decline

Before approval, a request may be declined for legitimate reasons, including:

  • legal or regulatory restrictions;
  • unmet prescription requirements;
  • inability to fulfil the request or product unavailability;
  • destination restrictions;
  • suspected misuse or fraud;
  • incorrect or incomplete customer information;
  • manifest product or listing errors;
  • other legitimate fulfilment or compliance reasons.

This is not a right to refuse requests arbitrarily.

17. Customer responsibilities

Provide accurate identity and contact information, delivery details, prescription status and information reasonably required to process your request. Tell NovaMeds promptly if relevant details change.

Do not provide false information, misuse prescriptions, impersonate another person, attempt fraudulent transactions or otherwise misuse the service.

18. Website and product information

We aim to keep descriptions and prices accurate and useful, and correct errors when identified. If information is unclear or appears inconsistent, contact NovaMeds before proceeding. Information about a medicine does not establish that it is appropriate for you or replace the supplied product information and professional advice.

19. Liability

NovaMeds is responsible for its intermediary activities; PharmaMed is responsible for its pharmaceutical sale and supply. Independent healthcare professionals are responsible for clinical assessments and prescribing decisions. Delivery and payment providers are responsible for the services they perform.

This allocation of roles does not remove any responsibility imposed by applicable law on NovaMeds, PharmaMed or another provider. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

20. Governing law

These Terms and the relationship governed by them are subject to the laws of Albania. This choice of law does not affect any mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory protections applicable to customers in the United Kingdom.

21. Changes to these Terms

NovaMeds may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service or applicable requirements. The date above identifies this version. Updates do not retrospectively change an accepted transaction without your agreement, except where a change is required by law.

22. Contact

Contact NovaMeds for help with these Terms, a request or an accepted order. Include your request reference where available.
