Intellectual & Industrial Property Policy
This policy explains rights in NovaMeds website materials and the permitted use of those materials.
Last updated: 30 September 2026.
1. Intellectual property
Website materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, database and other intellectual or industrial property rights. Rights belong to NovaMeds or the relevant owner or licensor, as applicable. NovaMeds does not claim ownership of third-party materials.
2. NovaMeds content
Where owned or licensed by NovaMeds, materials may include website design, original text, editorial articles, graphics, layouts, icons, database organisation, photographs and images, and software or theme elements. Third-party and open-source materials remain subject to their own applicable licences.
3. Trademarks and branding
NovaMeds branding identifies this service. Do not use it in a way that misleads people about the source of a service or suggests an affiliation or endorsement that has not been authorised. This policy does not assert that a particular mark is registered.
4. Product names and third-party trademarks
Product names, manufacturer names, trademarks, logos and other third-party intellectual-property rights remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance is for product identification, informational or legitimate commercial purposes. It does not imply ownership by NovaMeds or endorsement by a manufacturer.
5. Permitted use
You may access and use public website content for personal, non-commercial purposes. Normal linking to public NovaMeds pages and legitimate search-engine crawling and indexing are permitted. Applicable legal exceptions, public-domain rights and permissions granted by a relevant licence are unaffected.
6. Substantial commercial reuse
Without appropriate permission or another lawful basis, do not substantially reproduce or commercially exploit original NovaMeds editorial content, product descriptions, site design, graphics, protected database organisation or branding. Do not remove rights notices or misrepresent copied work as your own.
7. Medical and editorial content
Protection concerns original presentation and editorial work, not ownership of scientific facts, medical knowledge or public-domain information. Cited research and third-party sources retain their respective authors’ and publishers’ rights. NovaMeds does not claim copyright in research papers or regulatory documents linked from the website.
8. Reporting an intellectual-property concern
If you believe material infringes your rights, please provide:
- your identity and contact details;
- identification of the protected work or right;
- the URL and material concerned;
- an explanation of the concern;
- supporting information and, if acting for someone else, your authority to do so.
NovaMeds will review the concern and may ask for clarification before taking appropriate action.
9. Governing law
This policy and the relationship governed by it are subject to the laws of Albania. This choice of law does not affect any mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory protections applicable to customers in the United Kingdom.
10. Contact
