What Ngenla is<\/h2>

Ngenla contains somatrogon, a long-acting recombinant human growth hormone. It is given as a once-weekly injection for the treatment of children and adolescents with growth disturbance due to growth hormone deficiency.<\/p>

How it works<\/span>

Growth hormone, once a week<\/em><\/h2>

Somatrogon is recombinant human growth hormone joined to short peptide sequences taken from human chorionic gonadotropin. These extend its half-life, which allows one injection a week instead of daily injections.<\/p>
